Background
Born in Fall River, Massachusetts • June 20, 1952
During a brief encounter with higher education I majored in fine arts, then worked for more than 20 years in the graphic design, marketing, and publishing industries as a designer, consultant, and illustrator. Fourteen years ago I began working as a freelance designer and illustrator, and shortly thereafter started to paint, then to make monotypes. Eight years ago, I abandoned graphic design to focus on painting and print making. In June, I
completed my first installation and public art project, 13,699.
